It is day 4 of vacation and it has been a blast so far. We drove to Reno, Nevada the 1st day it felt like we would NEVER get there over 13 hours in the car. Zelda Sayre was a trooper. Our only major stop along the way was Hoover dam. We really enjoyed the Hoover Dam walked both sides of the dam and went from Arizona to Nevada side. *SIDE NOTE: ONLY SERVICE DOGS ARE ALLOWED AT HOOVER DAM*
We went to Lake Tahoe when we were staying in Reno. We had so much fun there. My hubby and I have never visited Lake Tahoe. It was so quiet and beautiful. While some areas were closed for the season, it was so peaceful to visit. We stopped at few places to walk around and to look at views of the lake.
We arrived in Corvallis, Oregon late yesterday. We decided to stay close to rental house as it has been raining the entire day. We got some gluten free and regular freshly made donuts. Shout out to Benny’s Donuts. We also had gluten free chicken and waffles. Shout out to 4 Chicken and Waffles it is a tiny “hole in the wall” place but WOW! food to die for, fresh honey butter, vanilla butter, and maple mustard.
We have some places planned to visit during the week when it is quieter. We did play in the rain and leaves today. Lambeau is doing great back at home in Arizona with his hooman siblings. While Zelda Sayre is exploring the colder and wetter pacific northwest.
Have a Barktastic Week. Remember to give your furry family members lots of attention you are their entire world. ~Charley
